Writer’s Guidelines
The ELL Outlook is a bi-monthly HTML newsletter published for
both ELL educators and educational publishers. On an ongoing basis
we publish articles about ELL research, instructional materials
reviews, and general news about ELL policy and practice. Each issue
contains articles by ELL educators, academics, and journalists.
Please note that The ELL Outlook only offers remuneration to writers
of regular columns; first-time ELL Outlook writers will not be given
remuneration. The ELL Outlook reserves the right to reject submitted
material for any reason. We do not publish articles that have been
published in other publications.
What Types of Articles Do We Publish?

- Provide a personal look at the challenges ELLs and their teachers
face in the classroom or community
- Report on late-breaking ELL news at either the national, state,
district, or school level
- Offer a reasoned, rational opinion on current ELL policy or
practice
